Sanjeev SINGLA

A career diplomat,Ambassador Sanjeev Singla joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1997. He has held various posts at Indian missions abroad, including in Paris (September 1999–December 2002), Dhaka (December 2005–December 2008), Geneva (January 2009–August 2011), and Tel Aviv (November 2013–July 2014), as well as at the Ministry of External Affairs headquarters in Delhi, where he served as Director for U.S. Affairs (December 2002–June 2004), Deputy Chief of Protocol (July 2004–December 2005), and Director of the Office of the Secretary of State for External Affairs (August 2011–October 2013). He served as Private Secretary to the Prime Minister from August 2014 to August 2019, and as India’s Ambassador to Israel from October 2019 to December 2024.

He is married to a diplomat, Ms. K. Nandini, who served as India’s ambassador to Portugal and India’s high commissioner to Mauritius, and who is currently the director general of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
