Historian Hamit Bozarslan, who holds two doctoral degrees, presented his new book yesterday. Held prior to a concert of traditional Ukrainian songs, this lecture explored the historical context in which the war currently affecting Ukraine developed. In his book, Hamit Bozarslan discusses the existence of a dual blindness: that of democracies toward Putin’s Russia and Russia’s own blindness. He examines the war in Ukraine and the way in which Ukrainians are “reinventing” war.
