An evening at the heart of Romanticism! Bruno Moysan, a fascinating musicologist, will give a lecture on the great figures of this era: Liszt, Chopin, Mendelssohn… Today, the piano—the flagship instrument of this musical movement—takes center stage. The great virtuoso Pierre-Alain Volondat will bring its most beautiful harmonies to life. The performer and the musicologist each demonstrate, in their own way, how relevant Liszt remains today. His virtuosity and the ingenuity of his technique have stood the test of time. On this evening, the Haizebegi Festival—a champion of musical outreach—once again celebrates the dialogue between scholarly analysis and musical performance.
